Sam Buah

Founder & Executive Director

Having spent most of his adult life in the UK working on various projects and engaging many stakeholders as a Project Manager, Sam wants to turn his attention to developing, nurturing, and providing life changing career opportunities to young adults especially those from minority ethnic backgrounds. This is something Sam can identify with because of his lived experience in the UK.

Sam refers to his humble beginnings growing up in Ghana, West Africa, and is grateful to the many individuals who believed in him, helped, and gave him opportunities when he had nothing to show. Sam had this to say, “My book's publication on project management is an excellent testament to me that people are capable of reaching their potential and dreams if they meet the right people and are also presented with the right opportunities in life”. Sam says he has learned that the key to success is hard work and opportunity. You could work as hard as you want, but sometimes you need someone to help you, guide you or even recommend you before you can reach your destiny. Sam is always grateful to the people who helped and gave him a chance and feels a strong sense of need to also help other people especially those from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Sam is putting proceeds from his book towards the Sam Buah Foundation to help young people to receive Mentoring, Coaching, Training, and Work Experience opportunities. Above all the Foundation also looks for avenues to help the most vulnerable young people in Ghana to access proper education.
